Northeast Timberland Band has been making music in the Twin Ports (Duluth/Superior area, for those not 'in the know') since late in 2013. They've played a wide variety of venues in the Twin Ports and beyond, and play styles from country rock to bluegrass to folk, as well as originals, so there's something for every type of crowd. NTB loves to make music, and it shows!
Neil Witikko: Lead and harmony vocals, guitar, mandolin, and banjitar. Neil has been performing live music since his high school days in the late 70's, and his passion for quality live music continues unabated. He also has a long history in live theater, mostly as a director in both high school and community theater productions. He has spent most of his working career as a high school teacher, and is now a professor of education and an administrator at a college in Duluth, MN.

Tim Lang: Lead and harmony vocals, harmonica. Tim has a long history of live performance but until about twenty years ago, it was confined to theatrical settings. Then he got the opportunity to join a band in 1997, and fell in love with live music performance. He has been a dairy farmer, ranch hand, contractor, technical college instructor, and a QA lead for a tech startup out of Boston. He's recently been recovering from the after effects of chemo and is thinking about taking sleep up as a professional endeavor. Turns out he's really good at it!

Xavier Witikko: Lead and harmony vocals, 6 & 12 string guitar. Xavier is Neil's son, and worked his way into live music by borrowing his dad's guitar and teaching himself to play the songs we love so well. He's been a member of NTB since its inception in 2013. He's currently a junior at a Duluth area college, majoring in education. X-man has branched out into performing some solo gigs at area coffee houses.
